Mount Olive NJ Community Information
Mount Olive Township is located in Morris County, having a total land area of 30.4 square miles and a population of 24,193 people, as the 2000 census says.
With its view of natural beauty, there’s no wonder Mount Olive Township has many parks its residents and foreign travelers will have to choose from. The Turkey Brook Park is a newly acquired land great for hiking and fishing. It is located on Flanders Road, next to the Chester Stephen School. The Powerline Park has two junior baseball fields, one softball field, and two tennis courts - perfect for a great sports team-up. It is located on fields south of shopping center off Route 206 and Clover Hill Drive in Flanders. Flanders Park consists of three basketball courts, three sand volleyball courts, soccer/football field, baseball field, and a playground. It is located on Bartley Road, across from Flanders Crossing Development. Lou Nelson is a newly renovated park and is already available to public for personal recreation purposes.
